23 for 2023

I’m not usually a big fan of New Year’s resolutions, but I was feeling demotivated about a week into January and I felt like I needed something to aim for. However I didn’t want any big goals, but rather lots of small ones that can hopefully give me something to look back on and make me feel pleased with all the things that I have done. So here are my 23 for 2023:
(we’re already half way through February I know and some of these may no longer be applicable, but I did finish this list in mid January, I just hadn’t quite got around to posting this here)
- Run a sub 18:30 parkrun
- Become stronger
- Be able to do the crow pose in yoga
- Be able to do at least 5 good magic tricks
- Be able to solve a Rubik’s Cube
- Get a tan
- Get a tattoo
- Average screen time <1 hour per day
- Weigh at least 69kg
- Be happy with my hair
- Be a good brother to my siblings and a good son to my parents
- Give blood
- Volunteer at least 10 times
- Give an amazing best man speech
- Chat to the same person after at least 3 parkruns
- Make a friend on holiday
- Join a new community of people that share a similar interest
- Go on a date with someone that I meet IRL
- Meet new people who are also cricket crazy
- Make more money than I spend
- Have a happy and stable living situation
- Make memories that make me laugh really hard
